About Detail Editing

Melbourne-based freelance editor Nick Tapp has more than 25 years of experience in magazine, book and digital publishing. He has worked in educational publishing (at Pearson Australia), travel publishing (at Lonely Planet) and with outdoor adventure magazine publisher Wild Publications. In December 2013, Nick left Pearson Australia after more than 10 years there as an in-house editor and senior editor, and established Detail Editing.

I am sure that the success of these publications has been in large part due to my good fortune in working collaboratively with Nick as editor.

I learnt a lot from him in my ‘green’ years as a publisher.
